DUTIES:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Pediatrics are seeking a part-time Medical Geneticist Physician with a New York State license at the level of an Assistant Professor. The Medical Geneticist’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
The Geneticist will be responsible for providing collaborative Obstetrical and Pediatrics inpatients and outpatients consultations on infants and children with congenital malfunctions. Collaboratively, the Geneticist will be actively involved in diagnostic issues/difficult case discussions with the involved staff for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Pediatrics, as well as provide proper supervision of the Genetic Counselor in the Antenatal Testing Unit within the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. The Geneticist’s clinical rendered services will be processed and billed through University Hospital of Brooklyn.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Eligible candidate must be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Geneticist. The applicant must have an academic background with experience in basic or clinical research. Candidate must possess a valid New York State Medical License.
