Responsibilities
Teach language and culture courses at all levels plus the ability to teach courses in Medieval/Renaissance or Francophone literature. Standard teaching assignment is three courses per semester. Participate in activities sponsored by the department.
Qualifications
Ph.D. (or proof of imminent completion); open field.
Preference given to specialists in Medieval/Renaissance French Literature or Francophone literature.
Excellence in teaching required.
Native or near-native fluency in French and English and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education also required.
