Primary Functions
Position is for an academic year appointment and depending on qualifications may be considered a tenure or non-tenure appointment at a rank commensurate with qualifications.
Expectations for this position include service and scholarship as appropriate to academic rank, and teaching in areas of need, interest and expertise. Projected teaching opportunities may include but are not limited to content in pediatrics, neurologic rehabilitation, neuroscience, orthopedics and clinical medicine. We seek candidates who demonstrate initiative and a commitment to working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, clinicians and others from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Must hold or be eligible for PT licensure in Montana
Teaching experience
Post-professional degree
Strong communication and collaborative abilities
Preferred qualifications:
Post-professional doctorate. (PhD, EdD, ScD, DSc)
Teaching at an institute of higher education
Evidence of scholarship
Clinical Experience
Organizational/administrative experience
APTA membership

The School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science houses 3 contemporary research labs and 2 clinics offering faculty opportunities for practice, teaching, and research. A 100 percent passing rate on the NPTE is typically achieved by graduating classes of the School.
