Primary Functions
Position is a non-tenure track faculty line at the rank of Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor. This position consists of an academic year appointment along with a 5-week summer contract. This faculty member will also serve as Associate Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education.
Expectations for this position include service and scholarship as appropriate to academic rank, and teaching in areas of need, interest and expertise. Projected teaching opportunities may include but are not limited to content in pediatrics, neurologic rehabilitation, neuroscience, orthopedics and clinical medicine. We seek candidates who demonstrate initiative and a commitment to working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, clinicians and others from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Must hold or be eligible for PT licensure in Montana
3 years of clinical experience
Experience as a Clinical Instructor
Teaching experience
Experience with web-based and soft-ware technologies
Strong communication and supervisory skills
Organizational skills
Able to travel for clinical site visitations
Preferred qualifications:
Post-professional degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
Previous CCCE and/or ACCE experience
Clinical Specialization or Residency Experience
Credentialed Clinical Instructor
