ITS Human Resources Manager

Posting Description: This position is in the Business & Administrative Resources unit of ITS and reports directly to the director of the unit. The ITS HR Manager works with ITS directors and supervisors as a highly-qualified expert and advisor regarding all aspects of HR in ITS, including organizational analysis, hiring and retention, HR training, employee relations, and leadership and organizational development. The HR Manager supervises the HR assistant (also PPL) in the day-to-day operations of HR activities in ITS.
Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience in human resources administration for a large organization.
Desired Qualifications: Experience working in an academic environment (preferably CU, 3-5 years). Experience working within the regulatory framework of the Colorado state personnel system (1-3 years). Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources administration. Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
