Adjunct Faculty in Sign Language Interpreting

Job Description: Teach interpreting courses within the Sign Language Interpreting Program.
Duties of Position: Teach interpreting courses (skills courses beginning with ITP 110) as assigned; teach in accordance with the general course outline, course description, topical outline, and student outcomes.
Education Requirements: Minimum of a BA degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Degree in related field preferred.
Experience Requirements: Experience teaching interpreting at the post secondary level preferred or at workshops and conferences.
Special Requirements: Must hold a valid RID certificate: CI, CT, or NIC: Master as appropriate; Valid Illinois Interpreter for the Deaf License: Master License.
