Technical College of the Lowcountry
Technical College of the Lowcountry is a public two-year technical college with three campuses, which serve four counties in the southern coastal region of South Carolina. The main campus is located in Beaufort in the South Carolina Lowcountry on the coast between the historic cities of Savannah and Charleston and adjacent to the resort area of Hilton Head Island.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Psychology instructor is responsible to the Division Dean for the Arts & Sciences Division for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in psychology courses and advisement of students in the Associate of Arts/Sciences Programs. Responsibilities occur in the areas of instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, professional development, college/community service, and instructional management. Classes may be delivered at any of the college’s teaching sites in the service area using traditional or alternative delivery strategies including live broadcast, web-based/enhanced.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Psychology. Preference will be given to applicants possessing a Ph.D. Submission of unofficial college transcripts are required when applying.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education.
