Summary of Job Duties: The Financial Aid Coordinator - Advising utilizes counseling, analytical and problem solving skills to assist students and their families with exploring options and making informed decisions throughout the complex financial aid process. The Financial Aid Coordinator ensures a comprehensive level of service is provided to fulfill the student's needs as they relate to educational, vocational and personal matters. Required Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree required. *Two years of financial aid experience required. *Ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on experience with knowledge of the federal financial aid process required. *Strong interpersonal communication skills required with an emphasis on problem solving and the ability to advise and make recommendation in an effective manner. *Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups. *Willingness to become familiar with new equipment or technology. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Salary/Benefits: $14.93 per hour plus pay adjustment for relevant experience.
